Our Founder
Moorthy Narayanasamy is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Highstead Group, with more than 26 years of experience in the Information Technology and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) industry.
His journey began with a passion for technology and business at a young age. Through hard work, determination, and a clear vision, he built a successful business from the ground up, growing it into a trusted partner for organizations across Malaysia and beyond. Over the years, he has established strong relationships with clients, partners, recyclers, and industry stakeholders, creating a valuable network that extends across both local and international markets.
Under Moorthy's leadership, Highstead and DataExpert Technology have evolved into comprehensive ITAD and e-waste management service providers, supporting government agencies, financial institutions, multinational corporations, and private enterprises. His practical understanding of the industry, combined with his ability to identify opportunities and build long-term partnerships, has been instrumental in the companies' growth.
One of Moorthy's greatest strengths is his ability to bring together people with diverse skills and expertise. He has built a dedicated team covering every aspect of the business—from corporate strategy, finance, compliance, and client management to operations, logistics, warehousing, refurbishment, and e-waste processing.
